上官燕,三峡大学外国语学院教授、国际处处长、国际学院院长,硕士生导师,北京外国语大学文学博士,剑桥大学和康乃尔大学访问学者,教育部人文社科重点研究基地北京师范大学文艺学研究中心兼职研究员,教育部优秀教材评审专家、教育部人文社科研究项目通讯评审专家、教育部学位中心论文评审专家,湖北省翻译协会常务理事,《中华读书报》特约撰稿人,三峡大学“欧美文学与文化研究所”所长。曾获“宜昌市三八红旗手”、“三峡学者”。在《文学跨学科研究》《外国文学》《国外理论动态》等刊物(含A&HCI、教育部A类期刊、CSSCI、核心及重要报纸)发表学术论文、译文40余篇,出版著作2部;主持国家级、省部级、厅局级项目近10项,研究经费共计60多万元。获得各类科研、教学奖励10余项。所指导的研究生曾获得国家奖学金、十大求索英才、校级优秀论文奖。

Summary
SHANGGUAN Yan is the Director of International Affairs Office and Dean of International College. She teaches at Foreign Languages College. In addition to CTGU, she has done research at Central China Normal University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Beijing Normal University, Cornell University and Cambridge University. Her research has been funded by the National Social Science Fund of China, Ministry of Education (MOE), Hubei Provincial Education Bureau etc. Her books include The Flâneur, the City and Modernity: Understanding Benjamin (1996), Spatial Justice and City Planning (2014). Over 40 articles based on research projects have been published in domestic and international journals such as Interdisciplinary Studies of Literature, Foreign Literature, Foreign Literary Trends etc. Her research has been awarded grants from Hubei Provincial Government, Hubei Provincial Education Bureau, local government and China Three Gorges University. The graduate students under her guidance have won the National Scholarship, the Top Ten Outstanding Talents of CTGU and the Best Dissertation Awards of the University.
